BEARD OIL

What is Beard Oil For?

Beard Oil is designed to be applied to your beard, and its job is to soften the beard hair, condition the skin under the beard, and help stop itches and dry skin under your beard.

How Do I Use Beard Oil?

1. Shake your bottle of beard oil to mix it then apply a small amount (3-8 drops to start with depending on your beard length) to one of your palms and rub your palms together. Use less if you have a shorter beard, and more if you have a longer beard but if your beard feels greasy afterward, you've used too much and you should use less.

2. Massage the beard oil into your beard, with the goal of applying it to the root of your beard.  It will naturally spread across your entire beard as you continue to massage it in.

3. Once it is in your beard, distribute and groom your beard it by using your hand, a comb, or brush so it coats your entire beard.  Any remaining oil in your hand can be rubbed on your hair, arms or washed off.

BEARD BALM

What is Beard Balm For?

Beard Balm is designed to be applied to your beard, and its job is to soften the beard hair, condition the skin under the beard, help stop itches and dry skin under your beard, and most notably, provide a moderate amount of "hold" to stop most flyaway beard hairs. The hold is provided due to the beeswax contained in the beard balm.  Ferocious Beard Company recommends beard balm once your beard is long enough that you want to shape it.

How Do I Use Beard Balm?

1. Open your beard balm and apply a thumb-nail sized amount to one of your palms and rub your palms together. Use less if you have a shorter beard, and more if you have a longer beard but if your beard feels greasy afterward, you've used too much and you should use less.

2. Massage the beard balm into your beard, with the goal of applying it to the root of your beard.  It will naturally spread across your entire beard as you continue to massage it in.

3. Once it is in your beard, distribute and groom your beard it by using your hand, a comb, or brush so it coats your entire beard.  Any remaining beard balm in your hand can be rubbed on your hair, arms or washed off.

BEARD BUTTER

What is Beard Butter For?

Beard Butter is designed to be applied to your beard, and its job is to provide a deep conditioning of your beard.  It is often used during the evening to condition your beard while sleeping, or for when you would prefer to deeply condition your beard during the daytime instead of using Beard Balm.  Beard Butter does not contain beeswax, although a moderate hold will still be achieved.  Ferocious Beard Company's Beard Butter contains primarily shea butter which provides a deep conditioning of your beard, and lanolin which is derived from sheep wool and is used to protect your beard from climate and the environment.

How Do I Use Beard Butter?

1. Open your beard butter and apply a thumb-nail sized amount to one of your palms and rub your palms together. Use less if you have a shorter beard, and more if you have a longer beard but if your beard feels greasy afterward, you've used too much and you should use less.

2. Massage the beard butter into your beard, with the goal of applying it to the root of your beard.  It will naturally spread across your entire beard as you continue to massage it in.

3. Once it is in your beard, distribute and groom your beard it by using your hand, a comb, or brush so it coats your entire beard.  Any remaining beard butter in your hand can be rubbed on your hair, arms or washed off.

BEARD & MUSTACHE WAX

What is Beard & Mustache Wax For?

Ferocious Beard & Mustache Wax is designed to be applied to your beard to provide an extreme hold to your beard or mustache.  The hold is provided due to the heavy amount of beeswax contained in the product.  Ferocious Beard Company recommends beard & mustache wax when you want to use the most amount of hold to assist in preventing flyaway hairs and keeping the beard or mustache shaped. Please note there are no conditioning ingredients aside from Coconut Oil in the product, so we recommend first using beard oil or beard balm to provide sufficient conditioning of your beard and skin, then applying a "coat" of Beard & Mustache Wax.

How Do I Use Beard & Mustache Wax?

Ferocious Beard Company recommends first applying beard oil or beard balm to your beard to provide sufficient conditioning for your beard or mustache as the wax will be used as a coating.

1. Open your Beard & Mustache Wax and scrape a thumb-nail sized amount to your fingertips.

2. Rub the wax with your fingers to melt it and then apply apply the wax into your beard, and spread it over the hairs of your beard. The goal is to "coat" your beard with the wax. Use less if you have a shorter beard, and more if you have a longer beard.

3. Once it is in your beard, distribute and groom your beard it by using your hand, a comb, or brush so it coats your entire beard.  Any remaining beard wax in your hand can be washed off.

BEARD WASH

Image of Beard Wash

What is Beard Wash For?

Unlike traditional shampoo which can dry your beard, Ferocious Beard Wash is designed to gently but completely clean your beard of all the  oils, balms and butters worn previously.  The product consists of a natural liquid castile-based soap with added glycerin (to help keep it from drying out) and essential or fragrance oils for scent.

How Do I Use Beard Wash?

1. Wet your beard thoroughly.  We recommend using it while in the shower or bath.

2. Shake the bottle of Beard Wash Formula each time you're about to use it.

2. Pour a nickel-sized amount into your palm and apply to your wet beard and lather.  It will create a considerable amount of suds when you're using it.

3. Once you have cleaned your beard, rinse the beard wash from your beard.  It should feel clean and moisturized.  Towel dry.  Your beard is now ready for oil, balm or butter to be applied.
